feste_sylvain to be the one to break it to his parents I didn't want to travel, but it ended up being me. They took it well. A little stress over presents for them, because they're not easy to buy for. There was a little room in the budget to get the girls some stuff they wanted, but certainly not over the top. My M-I-L seems to view cooking to be a huge chore and said my simple dinner menu sounded good since then I wouldn't have too much burdened on me. I love her dearly, but she doesn't get me, that cooking the dinner is just about the best part of Christmas to me after watching the kids open presents. It looks like this year we'll get out to both parties we want to got to. All seems well right now
