So that test cook job is still up, but the magazine's website lists a completely different person and address to contact. The one at the website is also clearly at the magazine instead of in RI like the first listing was at Bostonworks. Should I resend my resume and coverletter to this address? I still haven't heard back from the first contact.

It won't hurt any to resend it. I can't imagine a hiring manager being turned off by two submissions, especially if there was an address change.

don't be discouraged! contact the new person. it shows that you're interested and enthusiastic.. don't worry about being pesky. it's not like you're bugging them every other day. seriously. enthusiasm is worth a lot.

Resend, resend, OK! And this time, you can include in the cover letter anything you would have liked to include last time, just for good measure. :)

Yes resend. Squeaky wheel theory definitely applies here.

definitely resend! the differing contact info may have been because they had a problem with the old person or changed their mind about using an outside agency - so your CV might not even have gotten through. This is also an opportunity to make a phone call and say, "I submitted my resume, but noticed that the contact info has changed. i'm very interested in the position so wanted to make sure everything was copacetic with my submission" or whatever, in your own words. just a trick to get them on the phone so you stand out in the end because you're more than just a piece of paper.

yep. no harm in resending it.
Seeing as how the folks in RI might have been with a headhunter or "hiring agent" of some flavor - I can't see how sending it again directly to the magazine would hurt at all.
