In my head for 2 days I've been hearing a heavy metal version of "Let is snow, let it snow, let it snow".

Hmm ... guitar, check; multi-effects box that can give me the right kind of distortion, check; something similar playing in my head, check (gee, thanks, Tamar); bass, check; drums, oops -- those are at someone else's house; means to record this, depends on what freeware will run under Win95 on a 120MHz Pentium. I was thinking of an instrumental; no shouting. (Then again, I'm also hearing some surf-rock elements mixed in, sort of like Shonen Knife doing metal.) Big question is whether I'll have time to try to get it onto disk anytime soon.
