I read alot of food blogs...alot. One of my favourite ones is a irregular column in Serious Eats called Paula Deen is trying to kill me that just cracks me up
I see your deep fried turkey, and raise you bacon wrapped deep fried mac-n-cheese (http://www.seriouseats.com/2007/08/paula-deen-is-trying-to-kill-us-with-bacon-wrapped-fried-mac-and-cheese.html) really.
I'm afraid of the deep fried butter balls (http://www.seriouseats.com/2007/04/paula-deen-is-trying-to-kill-u.html)
The deep fried cranberry sauce sounds great, however, I might have nightmares about the velveeta fudge. In fact, I will definitely have nightmares about the velveeta fudge.
actually someone brought Velveeta fudge to one of tamidon's parties and it was pretty good. Not as good as Funeral Potatoes or the deep-fried turkey, but it was in fact good.
Somebody made that for the Trailer trash food party at my house a few years ago...it was disturbingly tasty, the big surprise of the party in a way 'cause t wasn't exactly a shock that deep fried turkey was good
