So there I was, freaking out

So, I voluntarily left my job...in an economy that is unlikely to have lots of opportunities in my field that are part time for a while. So, not being an idle person, I started a list of things i could get done while unemployed. It got a little scary.

1. Get a dumpster and get rid of metric tons of crap, from broken furniture to other stuff
2. Clean out basement and organize
3. Clean out garage
4. Repaint Alyssa and Adira's rooms
5. Finally install towel racks in upstairs bathroom
6. Buttloads of yardwork,it's out of hand
7. reorganize freezers
8. Remove carpeting and install floating floor in Adira's room
9. Remove carpet and install floating floor in family room

Maybe I should reconsider the job thing

BTW, does anyone have a power paint sprayer i could borrow? It would make life a little easier

as a reasonably intelligent person without loads of house work experience, will I be able to use machine without too much trouble?

Yes, we saved all the documentation and instructions with it. Depending on scheduling one of us can come over and help, cause the doc contains all kinds of scary WATCH OUT YOU CAN SHOOT YOUR FINGERS OFF!!! OMG!!! warnings on it and can be a little, um, not-empowering to beginners :) But really it's not that hard.

I have a wee tiny one that connects to my vacuum, but I suspect the other one will do you more good.

That job was making you crazy, and not leaving a lot of time for umm IMPORTANT STUFF like taking care of yourself and being there for your family.

So while money is generally a Good Thing, so is not being crazy.burned.out.exhausted.and.pissed.off.at.asshole.coworkers. all the time.

Spring is coming. Good time to do housework.
