but Alyssa blew blood vessels in both eyes, making them bright red. She's chasing after Adira yelling"I'm a zombie" and hoping it will last until school starts.

Oh, she got conjunctivitis and then got a sinus infection and vomiting. Between her eyes already being delicate from the conjunctivitis the vomiting and sinus pressure blew the vessels. It's startling to see, but the dr. said it'll be OK

Ugh, yeah, that still happens to me every goddamn time I get the stomach flu. (A rare event, thank all the gods.) People don't believe me when I say I'd rather dislocate my shoulder than throw up, but there's a reason...
