I have snow still falling, and the roads have been cleared once... but then I'm in a heavier snow zone than you.

usually we get the most snow according to the weather channels. Mark is always amused at my outrage at the statement "Heaviest snowfalls expected in the Rt.2/495 area" which I always translate to "Tamr and Mark are going to get bitchslapped by snow again". It has started snowing again and is apparently going to do so for the rest of the day.Still, I think they were pussies

We are in the middle of the Cape to Worcester belt... and we either get it full force, or we get rain...
Growing up we had very few snow days... I agree, they are pussies.

It's raining here, although it did snow a bit overnight because there is snow in my car that wasn't there last night. It's probably close to 40 degrees outside right now. I guess it's supposed to comein later today, and the expected is about 12 inches in my area.

*shrug* Last forecast I saw was that this morning isn't bad, but this afternoon is going to SUUUUUUUUCK. They probably don't want to deal with sending everyone home early.

Where we are (and tamidon is) the forecast calls for the snow to be over before afternoon. And [looks outside] it's over.

C'mon, we should be trooping them out to walk the ten miles to school in this weather!

Be sure to choose the uphill route...

Barefoot, of course.

Yeah, I'm torn between taking public transit to work and leaving the car where it is (will add a helluva lot to the commute time) or just chance it and take the car in.

<codger>Heh! Back in my day, we had to carry a hot potato to school to keep our hands from freezing! And we ate the potato for lunch, so our hands did freeze on the way back! And we liked it that way!</codger>
