any ideas on how to remove tomato sauce splatters from my kitchen's stucco ceiling?

bleach mixed with water in a spray bottle (or some of that powdered oxy cleaner and a bottle of water)
either way, it involves a used toothbrush and some muscle.

i think, unless she wants rotting tomatoe smell, she'll have to clean it first...

depends on how dried or how large the splatter is. I'd guess that in an active kitchen, one spot of tomato won't smell at all, and won't be at all obvious.
Time to repaint!
