Small yeild from the peach trees

7 jars Ginger Peach Jam
7 jars Vanilla Peach Nectarine jam

Last year it seemed that wherever I went there was great produce begging to be made into something. This year, not so much. I dunno if it's because I'm busier, or the weather is crappy this summer and what produce there is is expensive, I just haven't come close to last years extravaganza. I need to start making salsa and hunting down tomoatoes.

Cucurbit Farm over next to my place has had really excellent tomatoes for most of the summer, though the ones in the last day or two have been just a bit under-ripe.

Also, that big farmstand (I forget the name) at Nine Acre Corner in Concord often has amazing funky (and tasty) heirloom varieties at this time of year, though I haven't been there recently.
