Bob the never dying gerbil

I've written about Bob before, the gerbil that was only supposed to live 6 more months and has outlasted that by more than 2 years. Bob is now 5 1/2(2 years beyond expected lifespan) and interestingly enough the teacher who stuck us with him when Alyssa was in preschool is Adira's preschool teacher this year. Maybe I should return the little rodent.
