charleshaynes has always invoked great envy in me by being able to go to the restaurants I dream about.He is also one of the most informed people I know when it comes to food. I rate his knowledge much higher than my own.He is a person who is not a foodie, but is a true gourmand. When he posted that he had an opening in a table of 8 at what is widely considered to be the best restaurant in the world I responded that he was a lucky bastard. What followed blew me away. My friends jumped up to offer frequent flyer miles to get me there. Oh, did I mention the restaurant is in Spain? Alex and Bridget jumped first, and a few others have volunteered since. Charles got me the spot, and we're making plans now for me to, honest to God, fly to Spain for dinner. I don't care if I have to sleep on a park bench, this is something that I can't even begin to explain how important it is to me.

Unfortunately the book costs as much as the meal (http://www.amazon.com/El-Bulli-1998-2002-Ferran-Adria/dp/0060817577/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-0716925-1346814?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1172837199&sr=8-1) and weighs a ton. Also, they don't sell it at the restaurant. Did you read the link at chocolate and zucchini? This place is amazing.
