looking over the top, you get that whole sexy librarian chick with glasses ambiance going, so that's all good.

There was a great For Better or For Worse about that a couple of weeks back.

I have been nearsighted for many years. In the last couple of years, I need to take my glasses off to read. I ended up losing them completely about a week ago.

Oh god, yes. I shall not suffer a chin hair to live.

yeah, over the last few months, I've been leaning on reading glasses more. Unfortunately, dogs aren't impressed when you peer over them. *sigh*

Chin hairs suck, yes, but knuckle arthritis bites.

yeah... I realized a few months ago that I can no longer read an ingredients list on small jars/bottles, and make really funny squinty faces when reading anything smaller than sort of standard book typeface. Next year I'm signing up for the vision plan at work so I can get glasses via insurance. I wore glasses as a kid, until the time I was 15. Time to go back to them I guess.

reading glasses are really cheap at Costco if it's just a problem with your arms being too short
