I hate when this happens

I rarely use cookbooks to cook,they're recreational/educational reading for me...except when i want to recreate a dish from a cookbook using a main ingredient I've never cooked before. Of course I can't find the damn book right now.
I can wing it from what I remember,but it's annoying

BTW,did i loan anyone here my copy of "Nose to Tail" by Fergus Henderson? I seem to remember talking about it with someone at a party at my house,but don't know if I did loan it or my mind is just trying to fill a blank with anything it can.
