The 24 hour rule making kids stay home for 24 hours after fever breaks or last vomiting is a good rule, but staying at home with no longer sick kid who is bored and wants to be at school is no fun. Better than having a sick kid, but feels like wasted time, can't go to work, can't get much done, but am not actively caretaking.
